Providing Service to Our Community
First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho serves our community through numerous community outreach programs to reach and support those in need; physically, spiritually, and emotionally.  Listed below are our key outreach programs.

Outreach Ministries

"Worn Again" CLOTHING EXCHANGE Ministry 
Provides used clothing and small household items, free of charge, to anyone in the community. The exchange is open one Saturday each month from 8:00-11:00 a.m. Enter through the doors on the west side of the church.
 
Clothing donations are accepted during office hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

"Blessings" FOOD PANTRY Ministry 
Blessings Food Pantry serves our congregation and the residents of Rio Rancho. It is also available to those in need of emergency food. It is our privilege to share food that God has provided through donations from our congregation. The Food Pantry is open in the Powerhouse the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 1-2 p.m. Or recipients may contact the church office for an appointment.

Donations are always welcome and can be dropped off at the church during office hours Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 
The most needed items are: cereal, oatmeal packets, dry milk packets, canned milk, pasta/spaghetti & sauce, rice/dried beans (small bags), peanut butter/jelly, canned fruits & veggies, canned meats/tuna, soups/stews/canned pasta. 
Other items requested are: cookies/crackers, snacks/candy, coffee/tea/drink mixes, baby food, razors, deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothpaste/brushes, feminine products, toilet paper/tissues.

"Rich in God" HOMELESS Ministry
Attempting to meet the needs of the homeless, this ministry team goes out into the community on a regular basis to take food, clothing, and blankets to those individuals living on the streets.
 
Donations are always welcome and can be dropped off at the church during office hours Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
